Welcome to The Project's home page. This show has been on the radio, one way or another, off and on since 2000. First with an underground station known as Free Radio Oregon Hill, then at the founding of WRIR-LP 97.3FM (and its earlier Webcast-only form) in Richmond, VA. Now The Project is heard on WRBC 91.5FM the station at Bates College in Lewiston, ME. I'm currently on 8PM til 20 on Friday nights. You can usually hear the live stream at the site.
The names have changed over the years, but the show has always been about IndieRockTroniPop, which is another way of saying simply "whatever the DJ wants to play". Lots of new music off the shelf. Indie rock, classic rock, electronica, synth-pop, blues, Americana, and the occasional radio comedy from my friends at DreamRealm Enterprises. Nearly every radio show I've done has been recorded, and this used to be the place to find them all (well, you still can, but the older links are below). Updating was a hassle. Then I caught the PodCasting wave. Updates are SO much easier. Or they would be if I weren't so damn slow to update. Bear with me, new shows do occasionally appear, and i'll be throwing up older ones from the archive, too.

Additional thanks to Alaina hardie at CavesOfice.org for the cavernous storage space, and to the anarchists at Radio4All.net who provide streaming and podcasting services for cheapskate noobs like me who don't have the skillz or time or inclination to do all the work ourselves.
To hear the really old and unpolished exploits with my old partner Hatton, check out the Heytton Project Archives.
And four great world music themed shows from my old friends at WRIR-LP in Richmond, VA (listen to the streams from the website, showtimes below):
Global A Go-Go -- Bill Lupoletti plays "music from around the world in the universal language of groove." [Fridays 5-7PM]
Motherland Influence -- Richmond Virginia's African, Latin & Caribbean music connection, from Charles Williams & David Noyes. [Sundays 5-7PM]
Ambiance Congo -- David Noyes and Fred Ambioso bring the best music from Central afica. [Sundays 3-5PM]
The Other Black Music -- Charles Williams presents a sweet blend of Funk, Black Rock, Zydeco, Afrobeat, Reggae & more. [Sundays 3-5PM] |
