Next Heytton project show: No more! Alas, the Heytton Project has come to an end. Now it is just.... The Project! |
Shot forward from Elizabethan England through a pinhole in time, Heyward and Hatton were forced to adjust to the times. This meant finding clothes that didn't make people stare, figuring out plastic packaging, adopting American accents, and digging the modern music of this time. Going back hasn't even occurred to them. Her Majesty Would Not Be Amused.
Most Thursdays at 9:00pm, partners in crime Heyward and Hatton were in the tiny DJ closet at WRIR.org playing the music they like. This was back when WRIR-LP was just a live stream (still found at the site). Now its ON THE AIR as 97.3 WRIR-LP Richmond Indioe Radio, a newly licensed LPFM (Low Power FM) station that went ont he air on January 1, 2005. Back in November Heyward and Hatton parted ways -- Hatton rode off into the sunrise to try his hand at other things. Heyward changed his name to DJ MARSHALL and has moved to Tuesday nights at 7:00. Keeping that Heytton Project spirit alive, the show is now known as just THE PROJECT. For the sake of less confusion, The Project has it's own homepage (same address as before, bold new look -- you were probably there before you were here). Due to catastrophic hard drive crash, the final Heytton Project show was lost. I am very distressed about that.
For updates on what we and other WRIR DJs are up to, check out the WRIR.org News Page.
Archives are in two bandwidth flavors: At some point in the very near future, I'll probably be pulling the 2003 archives offsite. the host hasn't started complaining about the space, but since I'm pretty sure no one is really paying attention to them, I may as well remove them. I'll probably remove them up last Summer 2004, even. For now, it's all still there.

Eventually I intend to transfer my old Free Radio Oregon Hill radio shows to MP3 and post them as well. Hyooj thanx to Alaina Hardie for lending us space on her cavesofice.org server to post these archives. |
